All prices displayed exclude any delivery charges, but these will be clearly set out when you place your order during the checkout process and will be added to the total order value once you have selected a delivery service from the options available. In the unlikely event that the price of an item has been incorrectly advertised on the site, we will endeavour to contact you to ask whether you wish to proceed with your order at the correct price. If you are not happy to proceed, or we are unable to obtain your instructions, we will cancel your order and any sum debited by us from your paypal account or credit/debit card will be refunded in full to the same card where possible or by cheque or bank transfer if not. We will not be obliged to supply products at the incorrect price.
In the event of orders placed by phone/mail/fax/visit to our premises payments can be accepted in the following ways:
Credit/Debit Cards (UK customers only) – we can accept payment by Visa/Mastercard/Visa Delta/ Electron/UK Maestro. We require your full card details, and the name and address and telephone number of the card holder along with the expiry date and security code (last 3 digits on the strip on the reverse side of the card). In the case of UK Maestro we also require the Card issue no. details. In the case of Switch/Maestro (not UK) we can only accept payment by these cards at our premises and this will require your PIN number to be entered at the point of sale.
Cheques & Postal Orders (UK Customers only) – if orders sent in the post, we can accept this form of payment and cheques should be made payable to ‘J & C R Wood Limited’
Cash (UK Customers only) – we do not recommend the payment by cash through the post as we cannot accept responsibility for any losses in transit.
Bank Transfer (Non UK Customers) – Payment of Pro-forma invoices or quotations are to be sent by Bank Transfer in £ GB Pounds. Bank details will be supplied with the appropriate Pro-forma invoice/Quotation
ORDERS THROUGH OUR WEB-SITE ON-LINE STORE - All orders placed through our web-site's on-line store will be paid through the Paypal payment method. Please note that this does not require you to set up any sort of Paypal account if you do not wish to. Instead, Paypal can accept a wide range of Credit/Debit Cards directly through its Paypal Guest facility and they authorise the payment transaction and your card details are kept by them and are not transferred to us in anyway. For those who have a Paypal account, you can of course pay for goods from your account if you prefer.
Metalcraft Gift Vouchers (UK Customers Only)– these can be used as payment towards mail/phone/faxed orders but the original voucher must be surrendered by post and will be checked for validity. We reserve the right to not accept these if the voucher is not valid or completed properly. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed on web-site orders, nor can they be exchanged for cash.

The right to refuse or restrict any order is reserved.
Making a purchase via our web-site is straightforward. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy available on our webstore and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, following the instructions and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. All orders are subject to availability of stock. Sometimes we may have to cancel your orders if we are out of stock of items which are discontinued. Our acceptance of an order takes place on authorisation of your payment through PAYPAL, at which point the contract will be made and your account will be charged.
In the case of all orders, a VAT Invoice will be sent with the goods or sent separately to the goods through the post or by email to the address you stipulate when ordering.
On placing your order, you will receive an e-mail to the address you stipulate, confirming your order and allowing you to print out a copy of these terms and conditions.
Our published carriage charges apply only to addresses in the United Kingdom and Europe. We can supply to selected countries outside of the UK & Europe but we ask you to either us the appropriate form on our webstore or contact us directly and identify where you are based together with a list of the items from our site you are interested in purchasing and the quantities of each item. If we are able to supply you we will send back a quotation including delivery and payment terms or we will direct you to the appropriate distributor and ask them to service your request wherever possible.
In the case of orders made by post/phone or fax, we do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged for until they are shipped (and no postage will be charged for any back ordered items).
Where stock availability allows, our aim is to dispatch all orders received before 1.00p.m on the same day, and then deliver your order within 3 working days (UK) from dispatch or 10 days (non UK addresses). In extreme cases you may have to allow up to 28 days for delivery. Thankfully, such cases are rare and we will take every sensible measure to advise you long delays and give you the option to cancel your order. Please note that our carriers do not normally deliver at weekends or on public holidays.
Occasionally, due to the size and nature of the items ordered, we may have to send you order as more than one parcel and very occasionally we may elect to send these parcels by more than one different courier.
(UK only) If you request your order to be delivered on a quicker (next working day) service*, we will dispatch your order accordingly if we can and provided it is received here before 2.00p.m and your payment is authorised quickly and the goods are available in stock. If we cannot, you will not be charged the premium and we will take every sensible measure to advise you accordingly. Note, orders received on after 2 p.m on a Friday or the day before a holiday will be despatched on the following working day on a Next Day service.

On receipt of the goods*, you have a cooling off period of 21 days in which to cancel the contract (order).
An order once cancelled will be refunded in full, as soon as the customer has returned all of the goods in an unused and satisfactory condition. The company reserves the right to charge for any goods that are returned in a damaged state. Furthermore, J & C R Wood Limited will not be held liable for the loss of any returned parcels, so we recommend that you obtain proof of posting and take out adequate parcel insurance to cover against consequential loss by the post office or your chosen courier.
*Goods refers to any Metalcraft products except for any tools or parts thereof which have been specially modified to meet a customers specific requirements.
All of our products, with the exception of punch pins and blades, are guaranteed for one year from the date of invoice (dispatch date). In the unlikely event of a fault occurring in fair and normal use (as per the relevant published specifications), we will repair the item concerned. If we are unable to repair it we will replace it or failing that, refund the money paid for it in full.
Due to a policy of constant development, J & C R Wood Limited reserves the right to alter designs, specifications and prices without prior notice.
