One of J&CR Wood’s longest-serving employees is taking retirement after 41 years with the company.
Kevin Sykes joined the firm over four decades ago, when J&CR Wood purchased the company where he was working.
He had been employed as a cabinet maker, but over the ensuing years he became trained in all aspects of manufacturing, from wood work production through to spray painting.
Latterly, he became Team Leader in the assembly and packing department, having responsibility for the final processes before customers receive the quality goods and services the company provides.
The Directors and staff wish Kevin a well-deserved rest and a happy retirement.
